She is passionate about empowering clients to maintain excellent oral and overall health. Her journey began in 2003 in Brazil, and upon moving to Canada, she committed to continuing that mission. Today, she proudly welcomes patients to the clinic and guides them through the best options for holistic therapy.
As a Registered Dental Hygienist (CDHO) and an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist, she brings specialized expertise to every treatment. She is also an active member of CDHA, ACDH, AOMC, and H.E.A.L., staying informed about the latest advancements in science and technology, and an Alumna from AOMT. She regularly attends conferences and pursues continuing education with a particular interest in research linking orofacial myofunctional disorders to oral and systemic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
Her approach is built on trust and communication. She takes time to listen and explain every step of the treatment plan with empathy and clarity. This method helps reduce stress, ensures understanding, and encourages full commitment to care. Over the years, she has worked with clients managing anxiety, special needs, and various disabilities, always prioritizing comfort and respect. In addition to her professional work, she actively volunteers with The Filipino Canadian Dental Hygienists' Society, contributing to community initiatives such as the Homeless Project Toronto and Going Miles for Healthy Smiles.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their dog Moshi. Together, they love camping, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors.
